Large portions at good prices. The food is really tasty. Best to eat family style and share everything.
We ordered fried tofu, salt and pepper squid, salt and pepper pork chops, clams in black bean sauce and watercress with garlic and it was more than enough food for 5 of us.
There is on-street parking as well as a small lot beside the entrance of the restaurant. Went in as a party of 3 around 8pm on a Wednesday and were sat immediately despite the din of many full tables of families with 6 or more people. It was very noisy, but that means people are having a good time so that was no trouble :) We were given tea while we looked at the menu and were given a good amount of time to look. We ordered many plates to share, which included 2 soups (seafood and wonton), a veggie plate, a flat noodle dish, 2 fried dishes (calamari and tofu), stir fried lobster, and walnut shrimp. I recommend sharing everything because the portions are large and meant to be shared. The food was delicious and arrived on beautiful plates. Definitely will be coming back!
It's not delicious, it's not delicious at all, and the service attitude is not good. When you order food, you come in and ignore the customers. You sit down and don't bring tea and menus. I have to tell you that there are no menus before you get them. The waiters are very loose and have a bad attitude. These dishes are not delicious.
This is where a dude from Hong Kong would take his family to have dim sum on a weekend. I find myself returning here out of all the dim sum spots I've tried in Boston.
I live in Charleston, SC but my daughter lives in Quincy, MA. We found this restaurant when she first moved here and the food was amazing. So every time I visit her we order from here. So yesterday I came to Quincy because my daughter had to get some Dental Work done. We stop by do that I can order some food from me and my husband. First of All, I gave the guy my order about ten times! He told me that it was going to be about 30 minutes, so I waited in the car with my daughter and when I went back in , the people that was serving other tables were just rude. I get it the place is not that big and it’s always crowded But there’s no reason to be rude when Customers come in and are spending their money! The food was still Not ready after 30 minutes and when I got to my daughter’s apartment to eat with my husband, The Box contained the Driest Noodles that I ever had and the Wings weren’t Battered Fried as usual! The Noodles weren’t even covered with any type of sauce! I asked for Fried Chicken Wings , Pork Fried Rice, and Shrimp Lo Mein but I got Dry Noodles, Naked Wings, and No Rice for $25.00!! I guess they didn’t want to service Black Americans last night!!
One of the most legit authentic Chinese restaurants in metro Bos area. Very consistent, great stir fried and clay pot options
The chicken if not served half or whole is fake meat. I can't speak to other types of meat but the chicken was absolutely without any doubt fake meat. They don't even try to hide it. My wife had the double lobster rice dish and loved it. The lobster is relatively fresh. I suspect all their seafood is relatively fresh since they keep things alive right there in the restaurant for you to see. We also had a pork rib dish but it tasted of seafood. I'm guessing they used the same fry oil for seafood as they did for pork. I don't know. It's noisy as hell during peak times and it's pretty cramped. The server thought he was being nice by delivering a fork to me specifically at a table where I'm the only white guy. Pretty insulting, he should have asked. I'm better than most using chopsticks. Finally, for the price we could have done much much better AND gotten fresh and real meat. Either way, not ever going to be returning to this place.
The Yang Chou Fried rice is good but the char shiu was had funky taste. The Grilled Beef was tasteless and under cook. The tofu sizzling plate was the worst, under seasoned and lacked of flavor.
